Polo Ralph Lauren is seeking an agency to handle local advertising and promotions touting its retail stores as well as some individual brands.
Marian Schwindeman, senior vice president of global marketing for Polo, confirmed the search. She referred calls to New York-based Carlson & Partners, Polo’s lead agency, which is conducting the search in conjunction with the New York-based client.
C&P president Sandy Carlson said the agency is talking with three undisclosed shops that have national networks which can provide a presence in local markets.
