Promus Hotels Wraps One Review, Promises More

Reviews for Promus Hotel Corp.’s Homewood Suites and Club Hotels by Doubletree are on deck following assignment of duties for the company’s $35 million Doubletree, Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites account.
Promus last week confirmed DDB Needham Dallas will handle media duties for those three brands, with creative work going to TBWA Chiat/Day, New York [Adweek, August 24].
Promus representative Cathy Planchard said the company also plans reviews of its smaller Homewood Suites and Club Hotels by Doubletree accounts, now handled by DDB Needham Dallas and MMG Worldwide, Kansas City, Mo., respectively.
No firm timetable has been established for those reviews. –Steve Krajewsk
