Reviews for two smaller Promus Hotel Corp. properties are on deck following the account assignments for Doubletree, Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites.
Promus last week confirmed DDB Needham Dallas will handle media duties for those three chains, with creative chores going to TBWA Chiat/Day, New York [Adweek, Aug. 24]. Combined ad spending for those brands exceeds $35 million.
Promus official Cathy Planchard said the firm plans future reviews of its Homewood Suites and Club Hotel by Doubletree accounts, though they will remain with DDB Needham Dallas and MMG Worldwide, Kansas City, respectively, for the time being.
