SF Interactive, the online marketing division of Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners in Sausalito, hired Kristin Bruno as senior producer in charge of the agency’s Web-development and online creative-resources operations. Bruno had been at ChevronTexaco, where she supervised a 34-person internal Web-development and print group. In her new post, Bruno will work with SFI clients such as VeriSign and TIAA-CREF, among other duties.
Michael D. Ritchey, formerly senior vice president and chief marketing officer of public relations agency FischerHealth, was appointed senior vice president of Lehman- Millet West in Los Angeles. Ritchey, who reports to agency president Bruce Lehman, is charged with establishing a greater West Coast presence for the Boston-based firm, which focuses on medical devices and diagnostics.
Media-services company Kelly, Scott & Madison promoted Kim Roberts to media planning supervisor. She had been a senior media planner at the Chicago shop.
Rachel Wilson was hired as a copywriter at Zehnder Communications in New Orleans. Wilson most recently was a junior copywriter at Grey Worldwide Advertising in Atlanta, where she worked on the BellSouth and Cingular Wireless accounts.
Jim O’Hara was named senior vice president and chief financial officer for the VNU Media Measurement and Information Group, part of Adweek parent VNU. Based in New York, O’Hara also becomes a member of VNU MMI Group’s management board. He reports to Michael P. Connors, chairman and CEO of the VNU MMI Group. For the past four years, O’Hara had been senior vice president and CFO for Nielsen Media Research, part of the VNU MMI Group.
McKinney + Silver promoted two senior-level executives. Jonathan Cude, formerly group creative director, rose to senior vice president at the Raleigh shop. Cude, who joined McKinney in 2003 from Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, Ore., has worked on accounts such as Nike and Diet Coke. Tim Jones also was named senior vice president at McKinney. He was hired as finance manager in 2000 and was promoted to director of finance in 2002.
Wray Ward Laseter installed Joey Holt as senior Web editor. He will work on the Charlotte shop’s Transolid, Charlotte Bobcats and Peninsula accounts. Prior to joining WWL, Holt worked for North Carolina-based companies such as MMWeb and Bradytrane.
Joe Messinger was named management supervisor at Brokaw. A five-year veteran of the Cleveland agency, Messinger will play a key role in the agency’s financial operations, among other duties. He will continue as an account supervisor on the Parker Hannifin and Cisco Systems accounts.
Jordan Associates Advertising/Communications elevated Cyndy Hoenig from media relations consultant to public relations account executive. She joined the Oklahoma City shop in 2001.
Tierney Communications in Philadelphia appointed Andrew Dalsass senior art director. He will work primarily on the Commerce Bank, Martin Guitars, Philadelphia Phillies and Exelon accounts. Most recently, Dalsass was a senior art director at Digitas in New York.
Witherspoon Advertising and Public Relations hired Kevin Nicoletti as an account executive. He arrives at the Fort Worth-based shop from Texas Christian University, where he was assistant director of alumni relations.
Taylor West Advertising named Lilliana Perez account manager in its public relations department. Perez joins the San Antonio shop from GlobalHue’s local office, where she was public relations manager. There, she managed national Hispanic PR efforts for clients such as Continental Airlines, the Internal Revenue Service, DaimlerChrysler and Taco Cabana.
