Platinum Technology’s review for creative duties on its $10 million business-to-business account is on hold pending a buyout, company officials said.
Computer Associates International, Islandia, N.Y., last month announced its intention to buy the Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., software company for $3.5 billion. Tom Russell, Platinum’s director of advertising and promotion, said the review has been suspended until the deal is completed.
Left hanging are San Francisco shops Young & Rubicam and Arnold Ingalls Moranville, Sicola-Martin in Austin, Texas, and possibly two other agencies.
