Pittard Sullivan Lands Creative Duties For Fox Family Channel

Pittard Sullivan has landed one of its biggest advertising assignments since it was founded 12 years ago. The Culver City, Calif.-based graphic design and marketing communications company was selected to develop all creative and strategic marketing for the newly branded Fox Family Channel, a division of Fox Kids Worldwide.
J. Walter Thompson’s Los Angeles office, which already handles media duties for Fox Kids Network and parent company Saban Entertainment, adds media buying and planning responsibilities for the cable network [Adweek, March 9].
Total billings on the account are estimated at $12-15 million.
Thomas Lucas, the client’s senior vice president of marketing, said Pittard Sullivan will help reposition the Fox Family Channel. “We want to convey that the programming is for [today’s] families,” he said.
Pittard Sullivan’s duties will include developing a new logo, tagline and interstitials, as well as creating TV, radio, print and outdoor advertising.
“We’ve done a lot of these kinds of projects for many entertainment companies,” said Ed Sullivan, president of Pittard Sullivan. “This is our biggest TV launch.”
The Fox Family Channel is scheduled to launch Aug. 15.
