Ruder Finn/Switzer has hired Harry Pforzheimer as executive vice president. He was formerly the head of the Western region for Edelman and general manager of its Silicon Valley technology practice hub. He will report to Jessica Switzer, managing director of RF/S in San Francisco, whose firm was acquired by Ruder Finn in February. Pforzheimer is charged with helping to develop the agency’s West Coast presence. He will also work with Richard Funess, president of Ruder Finn/Americas, and other members of the Ruder Finn executive committee to contribute to the firm’s strategic initiatives.
