Petsmart Cuts to 4 Finalists

LOS ANGELES Petsmart has named four finalists in the review for the creative portion of its estimated $30 million ad account, according to Select Resources International, the consultancy leading the search.

They are: Omnicom Group’s DDB in San Francisco; Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett in Chicago and Publicis in Dallas; and WPP Group’s J. Walter Thompson in Chicago, according to SRI in Santa Monica, Calif.

The shops that were cut from the review were Publicis’ Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco and independent davidandgoliath in Los Angeles.
