Perrier Launches Site for Hip Crowd

SAN FRANCISCO — The Perrier Group of America has launched a new Web site, Perrier.com/USA, that the Greenwich, Conn.-based company is touting as the “ultimate place to be for 20 to 30-somethings online.”

Created by i-shop Byte Interactive, in South Norwalk, Conn., the site attempts to reach a younger, more savvy and sophisticated market, offering tips on such topics as where to be seen, what to wear and how to throw a killer party.

“We worked in lockstep with Perrier from the planning stage to the launch date,” said Michael LeBeau, founder and CEO of Byte Interactive. “The site we’ve created really does have that hipper, fresher edge — a mirror image of the entire brand marketing strategy behind it.”

The Perrier Group of America, which produces premium bottled waters, was formed in 1976. In addition to Perrier, Byte Interactive counts Coty and Guinness Bass Import Company as clients.
