Paul Caine is leaving WestwoodOne as CEO, four months after the radio content syndicator company he joined in March was bought by Cumulus Media and changed its name from Dial Global.

Caine came to Dial after a 23-year career at Time Inc., where he climbed the sales ranks to chief revenue officer and was once seen as a potential successor to then-CEO Laura Lang.

Over the past few months, his name has surfaced as a possible candidate for his old role at Time Inc.,
