Panasonic Expected To Winnow List To 4 N.Y. Agencies

Panasonic this week is expected to identify the contenders–possibly as few as four–for its $6-8 million personal care products account, which includes both media and creative chores, sources said.
Last week, Publicis/Bloom and Fallon McElligott Berlin, both in New York, emerged as shops contacted by the client, sources said. New York shops Angotti, Thomas, Hedge; Margeotes/Fertitta + Partners; Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners; Berenter Greenhouse & Webster; Mad Dogs & Englishmen and another undisclosed agency had also been contacted [Adweek, Aug. 18].
