TBWA C/D Veteran to Lead Account Planning
LOS ANGELES–Campbell-Ewald Advertising has hired a new senior vice president, director of account planning.
Nadine L. Padawer joined the agency’s Los Angeles office last month, filling the post vacated two months ago by Suzanne Rampton, who resumed her career as an independent consultant. Padawer had most recently been freelancing as a strategic planner for TBWA Chiat/Day, Venice, Calif.
“The people [at C-E] have a real commitment to account planning,” Padawer said. “I thought it was an excellent opportunity.”
Padawer has also worked full time at TBWA C/D as a group planning director on such accounts as Jack-in-the-Box Restaurants, Sony Playstation and The Weather Channel. Before TBWA C/D, she spent time at Young & Rubicam and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, both in New York, and other shops.
“Nadine is someone who really digs for the insides,” said Ian McGregor, C-E executive vice president, managing director. “She starts with the facts, then goes to work to open up the horizons.”
Separately, the agency has just completed work on a new National Football League campaign for its main client, DirecTV, according to McGregor. The new spots will break in the fall. The shop also won an Effie for its recent “Subscription” campaign for the Long Beach, Calif.-based client.
