OrderTrust Puts Faith in CGN

CGN Marketing & Creative Services prevailed in a review for OrderTrust.
The Boston shop was selected following a search that came down to Donovan Group, Northborough, Mass.; and Tom Davis + Co., Lexington, Mass.
This spring, CGN will kick off OrderTrust’s first print and interactive branding campaign aimed at retailers and dot.com companies the 5-year-old privately held firm wants to cultivate as customers.
OrderTrust provides order management services for e-commerce sites, including Blockbuster.com and SkyMall.com. The company employs 150 people and expects to add 50 more this year, said marketing communications director Margie Ferro.
“Last year, our space gained a lot of recognition,” Ferro said. “We need to invest a lot in creating a name in that space.” Billings were estimated in the seven figures.
The client selected CGN based on its experience with various companies, such as e-business software provider BroadVision, she said.
The $4 million BroadVision account was the largest account it won last year after being acquired by Burlington, Mass.-based database marketer Epsilon in March 1999.
CGN’s billings were up nearly 30 percent last year to $52 million; staff grew to 50, said CEO Ken Dec. To accommodate that expansion, the agency will move to new offices near Copley Square on March 1.
