NEW YORK David Baldwin, executive creative director at McKinney + Silver in Raleigh, N.C., has been named president of The One Club for Art and Copy, the nonprofit creative organization said on Tuesday.

Baldwin, 40, will serve a three-year term beginning Friday. He succeeds John Butler, creative director at Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners in Sausalito, Calif. His chief duties will be to oversee the board of directors of the New York-based organization, which sponsors The One Show, an annual awards ceremony honoring creative excellence in advertising and design.
