Buys Meltzer
DALLAS–Fleishman-Hillard of St. Louis has acquired Meltzer & Martin Public Relations to merge into its Dallas office, creating a local practice with fee billings of $7.3 million.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The agreement is expected to close later this month.
Principals Larry Meltzer and Robert Martin will become senior vice presidents at Fleishman-Hillard, reporting to regional president Janise Murphy. Meltzer & Martin officer Margo Isbell will become a vice president in the new F-H office.
Fleishman-Hillard, an Omnicom-owned agency, has operated in Dallas since 1993. The shop’s Texas network also includes offices in Austin, Houston and San Antonio. Clients include Dell Computer, Nortel, Southwestern Bell and Blockbuster Entertainment. –Glen Fest
