NEW YORK Strong top-line growth pushed Omnicom’s fourth-quarter profit 10 percent higher to $221.3 million, with diluted earnings per share increasing 8 percent to $1.17 a share, the company reported today.

Worldwide revenue jumped 18.3 percent to $2.5 billion. Domestic revenue rose 15 percent to $1.3 billion while international operations rung up a 22 percent increase to $1.2 billion. Organic revenue, excluding currency exchange and acquisitions, rose 7.6 percent.

For the year ended Dec. 31, the New York-based holding company reported a 5 percent increase in profits to $675.9
