NEW YORK–Omnicom Group reported that net income for the second quarter of 2001 was $151 million. This figure is up 19 percent from the same period last year, when it reached $127 million.

The New York-based holding company’s worldwide revenue was up 15 percent to $1.75 billion, from $1.52 billion during the second quarter of last year. Domestic revenue also increased 15 percent to $925 million from $805 million in 2000. Omnicom group agencies include BBDO, DDB and TBWA\Chiat\Day.
