Oldsmobile general marketing manager Knox Ramsey said last week that he expects to officially tap six finalists by the end of this week for the automaker’s $140-million account review. Expected to be named along with incumbent Leo Burnett, are Hal Riney & Partners, Ayer, Ammirati & Purls and two other shops. Several agencies who had been contacted earlier in the review were notified last week that they would not be finalists. Ramsey said that the selection committee, as of last week, had not finalized the group, but had eliminated several from contention.
