Gap Inc. has appointed Amy Curtis-McIntyre senior vice president of marketing for Old Navy.

In her new post, Curtis-McIntyre will oversee Old Navy’s marketing and brand management. She will report to Old Navy president Tom Wyatt. Michael Cape, who left the company in 2008, previously served as Old Navy’s evp of marketing.

The company said it hopes to reestablish itself as a value brand for families. Some upcoming efforts include an update to its “Supermodelquin” campaign by ad shop Crispin Porter + Bogusky, and the remodeling of more than a quarter of its stores by the end of this year.
