Ogilvy & Mather Group is set to name Miles Young to succeed longtime worldwide CEO Shelly Lazarus, sources said.

Young is chairman of the group’s Asia-Pacific region.

Ogilvy referred calls to parent WPP Group, where reps could not immediately be reached.

Lazarus has held the top post since 1996 and carries a secondary title of chairman. Sources expect her to remain with the WPP operation for a lengthy transition period, perhaps in the role of chairman.
