Ogilvy & Mather has launched Turnkey, an in-house design group to create high-end, lower cost collateral materials for its clients.
“A big piece of the pie is collateral projects,” said Ogilvy Atlanta managing director Ian Latham. “But if we use agency staff, we’d lose our shirts.”
Turnkey, a concept coming onstream at all Ogilvy outlets, will produce out-of-home, Web site, electronic and direct marketing materials. Services include writing, design, production and printing. Turnkey is supported by Ogilvy Central, the agency’s graphics studio.
Former BBDO creative director Bob Pitt is the group’s design director.
