NEW YORK The Coca-Cola Co. has hired Robin Bardolia from WPP Group’s Ogilvy & Mather as vp of global creative strategy, effective sometime in February, a Coke representative confirmed.

Bardolia, 38, is currently running a recently formed planning unit called Ogilvy Planning Syndicate at the agency’s New York headquarters [Adweek, Nov. 30].

Before joining Ogilvy in 2002, Bardolia ran the planning department at the New York office of Publicis Groupe’s Fallon. At Ogilvy, he has worked on accounts such as Ponds, Motorola and Unilever.
