NOT YET READY FOR PRIME TIME

Meijer supercenter stores figured it would get a jolt of national publicity with an appearance by its spokesmodels, the Dilley sextuplets, on the Sept. 10 edition of Prime Time Live .
But with the death of Princess Diana, the newsmagazine show’s schedule was totally revamped, and the sextuplets’ segment-which was to have included footage of the shooting of a Meijer TV commercial with the Dilleys by Milwaukee agency Meyer & Wallis-was bumped.
The segment is to be rescheduled, said Lisa Liljegren, a Meyer & Wallis representative. The spot featuring the sextuplets, whose lives have been chronicled by Prime Time Live co-anchor Diane Sawyer, aired last year throughout the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based chain’s five state territory.
The spot shows how parents Becki and Keith Dilley rely on Meijer to supply the needs of a family with six kids under five. The children are shown banging on pans, throwing mashed potatoes, and, in the final scene, hanging from the wall-with Velcro purchased from Meijer.
