Nikon Focuses on Shops

Camera manufacturer Nikon has selected a list of six semifinalists for its $20 million ad account.

The contenders are Arnold, Boston, and BBDO, Bozell, DDB, Euro RSCG MVBMS, McCann-Erickson, all New York, according to Pile & Co., Boston, which is overseeing the review. Finalists will be selected in January, with a final decision in February.

Incumbent Fallon, Minneapolis will not participate in the review. Citing creative differences, Nikon of Melville, N.Y., parted with Fallon in October [Adweek, Nov. 18].
