Nike has hired independent startup Make for a design project, the client said last week. The Portland, Maine, shop is crafting collateral elements for Nike’s retail stores, according to Mitch Morse, a designer at the Beaverton, Ore., client. Make won the assignment following a review that involved several undisclosed shops. Former Fallon art directors Tom Riddle and Dan Bryant launched the agency in September.
