NEW YORK Three New York agencies continue to contend for investment brokerage Edward Jones’ $25-30 million advertising account, sources said.

The contenders are Wolf Group, Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners. Agency teams will fly to the client’s St. Louis offices early next week, where they will receive a strategic assignment before final presentations. A decision is expected at the end of October, sources said.

The St. Louis-based brokerage is searching for an agency to handle consumer advertising, direct-response creative and interactive work in North America and the U.K.,
