NEW YORK The New York State Department of Economic Development this week began reviewing 26 returned proposals for its “I Love New York” travel and tourism account, the client said.

The department kicked off its scheduled review in March by issuing nearly 350 requests for proposals to shops nationwide, though most of the agencies solicited are based in New York, said Alex Dudley, the client’s director of communications. The forms were due back April 29.

The winning agency will be notified in September, said Dudley.
