ATLANTA Adair-Greene Healthcare Communications has appointed Jay Levy president, the agency said.

In his new role, Levy will be responsible for the shop’s strategic direction and all executive responsibilities, according to the shop. He succeeds his son, Rich Levy, who left the Atlanta shop last year to serve as president of HealthStar Advertising in Woodbridge, N.J.

The elder Levy joined Adair-Greene more than nine years ago to strengthen the agency’s direct-marketing division. He was promoted to svp in 1998 and rose to evp last year.
