BOSTON Following its move to Boston after 17 years in Providence, R.I., PGR Media has named Jane Deery partner and COO.
Boston now serves as headquarters for the independent buying and planning shop. PGR also maintains an office in New York, where it was founded 22 years ago.
Last month, the agency added K-Swiss’ media chores. (Toth Brand Imaging in Cambridge, Mass., a frequent PGR partner, picked up creative duties.)
Deery joined PGR in 2003 after serving as evp, gm at Carat North America. Prior to Carat, Deery worked as a media supervisor at Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos. Deery retains the title of president. COO is a new designation at the shop.
In her new role as an equity partner and COO at PGR, Deery will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. She will oversee client service and financial performance and develop growth and integration strategies.
“As I continue to build PGR Media, an important area of concentration will be attracting and retaining senior-level talent who exhibit passion for growing our clients’ business,” Deery said, in a statement.
PGR handles approximately $120 million in overall billings. Apart from K-Swiss, clients include the Boston Ballet, The Boston Globe, Esprit, Sovereign Bank, Tommy Hilfiger and Via Spiga.
