New England Design Firm Opens Office In Chicago

Group Four has made its first foray beyond New England, opening an office in Chicago.

The outpost of the Avon, Conn.-based design shop is run by vice president Scott Belliveau. The office will service Midwestern clients, which include Unilever/Helene Curtis, Skil-Bosch, Mead Johnson and Kraft.

Belliveau joins Group Four from LPK Product Design & Development in Cincinnati, where he was business director and director of marketing. Prior to that he spent three years at NCR, Dayton, Ohio, as manager of environment and product design.

Group Four has been trying to gain critical mass and expand its service offerings of late, merging with competitor Strategic Design Corp.
