New Chief, New Name for Burrell Marketing Unit

Burrell Communications Group’s direct marketing arm has a new president whose name will go on the door.
Keith Yagnik, formerly senior vice president, director of strategic services at McCann Relationship Marketing in New York, takes over from Ed Forti, who ran Burrell/DFA since it was purchased by the Chicago-based African American target agency in November 1995.
The New York shop will now be called Burrell Yagnik Relationship Marketing. It is expected to expand from direct marketing into “a broader platform of relationship marketing, consultancy and execution services for consumer and business-to-business clients,” Burrell chairman and chief executive officer Thomas J. Burrell said in a statement.
