Neslund to Head Starlink as President

CHICAGO Starcom MediaVest Group has named Scott Neslund president of StarLink, a division specializing in providing media services to small and midsize shops.

Neslund, who will assume the post on March 17, was previously managing director of SMG Canada. StarLink’s previous president, Bob Kubis, left the $300 million unit last year.

Neslund will work with Ken Zasky, who has been the unit’s chief operating officer since July 2000. Neslund will report to SMG CEO Jack Klues.

“I am thrilled to be working with this talented group of people who have successfully driven the StarLink operation over the past few years,” said Neslund, 37, in a statement. “I am looking forward to reaching new heights of success as we continue to grow the company.”
