NBCUniversal has announced numerous changes to its digital ad sales staff, with evp, digital media sales Scott Schiller and digital evp of strategy and operations Krishan Bhatia taking on expanded roles.
Schiller will oversee digital ad sales for the entirety of NBCUniversal's broadcast and cable brands which extends from NBC.com to sites like Fandango and even Comcast's Xfinity.com portal, while Bhatia will manage ad sales operations and strategy for all of NBCUniversal's digital portfolio. A few weeks ago, NBCU promoted longtime digital sales executive Peter Naylor—and Schiller's counterpart—to lead the company's digital news group.
Among NBCU's other moves: CMO, John Shea is joining the ad sales group to help faciliate cross platform ad partnerships, while Barry Fischer, formerly evp of market strategy will take on a new role as evp of sales analytics.
Lastly, Earl Marshall, formerly svp and CFO of the NBC Sports Group will take on the position of evp and CFO of ad sales.
