U.K. shop Mother’s startup New York office has landed its first account, a National Basketball Association project, sources said last week. The NBA’s lead creative shop, WPP’s Berlin Cameron/Red Cell, has not produced any work for the league in more than a year. Neither Mother nor the NBA was available for comment. Mother is expected to officially open in New York early next year.
