BOSTON — Mullen/LHC yesterday won the consolidated Wachovia account, according to agency representative Ann Shannon. The budget is estimated at $60-75 million.
The Winston-Salem, N.C. shop, an affiliate of Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Wenham, Mass., beat Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco, in a shootout between the two roster shops. The two agencies had been incumbents on accounts of Wachovia Bank and First Union, respectively, before the merger of the two financial institutions.
