MSN and Google Join with Handspring

Redmond, Wash.-based portal MSN and Mountain View, Calif.-based search engine Google both announced alliances with Handspring Inc., also based in Mountain View, on Tuesday. Users of Handspring’s new Blazer Web browser for Handspring Visors, as well as almost any other Palm handheld device, will now be able to access MSN content and services and perform searches on Google via their handheld devices.

MSN also announced on Tuesday that it has entered into a strategic marketing alliance with Chicago-based United Airlines Corp.
