ARIZONA

Jeff Irish joined Revolution Tea as creative director. His duties at the Tempe tea company will include managing integrated marketing-communications programs such as advertising, public relations, and graphic and Web design, as well as brand development. Irish comes to Revolution Tea from Subia Creative in Phoenix, where he was an associate creative director.



CALIFORNIA

Bender/Helper Impact named Dana Henry vice president of its interactive-entertainment division. Henry will work with clients such as Codemasters, Sammy Studios and Playboy Home Entertainment at the Los Angeles-based entertainment public relations agency. She replaces John Foster, who has left the shop. Henry was formerly an associate at Edelman Public Relations, where she managed the North American PR launch of Microsoft’s Xbox system and software.

David Dorn, 37, rose to senior vice president of media for Warner Strategic Marketing. He formerly was vice president of media relations, new media and promotions for Rhino Records. WSM, a division of Warner Music Group, is based in Burbank.



CONNECTICUT

Bill Field was named president of Mintz & Hoke. He takes over day-to-day management duties at the Avon shop, as well as the president’s title, from Chris Knopf, who remains chairman and executive creative director. Field, 45, has been with the agency for 17 years, most recently as evp, director of client services. In addition to overseeing the shop’s creative department, Knopf will also focus on new business and provide strategic services to key clients.



DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

Blackboard appointed Mary McPherson vice president of marketing. McPherson will lead and manage all of the Washington shop’s corporate, product and event-marketing efforts. Prior to joining the agency, she served as executive director of the Netpreneur program at the Morino Institute in Great Falls, Va.



GEORGIA

Mountain View Productions, a production and communications-consulting company, appointed Thom Gonyeau vice president and chief operating officer. Gonyeau is moving to the firm’s Atlanta office from its headquarters in Schenectady, N.Y., where he worked as a producer.

Jack Morton Worldwide named Kim Youngblood general manager of its Atlanta office. In her new role, Youngblood will focus on generating new business with consumer-products clients. Prior to joining Jack Morton, Youngblood was vice president of brand design for Iconologic.



KENTUCKY

Doe-Anderson added three employees and promoted one staffer. Judy Downing was hired as vice president and general manager of direct marketing. Downing comes to the Louisville shop from Tampa, Fla., where she managed accounts at Marketing Associates. Catherine Tomiczek was named account supervisor. Tomiczek previously was a group account supervisor for Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare/Nelson Communication; before that, she was an account director at JMCP Touch. Carl Whitmire joins the shop as vice president and account supervisor. Whitmire formerly was an independent advertising consultant. Alan Rietze was promoted to account supervisor, after serving as senior account manager.



LOUISIANA

MorganJoanen Media Strategy & Placement hired two staffers. Dana Fierstein joined the New Orleans agency as senior media buyer. She arrives from OMD USA, where she was a senior broadcast negotiator. Mark Enright was named account coordinator. Prior to joining MorganJoanen, Enright was an account executive at Advanced Medical Equipment in Kenner.



NEW JERSEY

S3 hired two staffers. Danielle Adams was appointed an assistant account executive; she will work on the Aston Martin of North America business. Adams previously served as an account coordinator at ADP. Sean Reynolds joined as traffic coordinator; he most recently worked as a client relations consultant at Studio Graphics in New York. Adams and Reynolds are both based in S3’s Boonton office; the shop also has an outpost in Irvine, Calif.



NEW YORK

Alison Kosakowski joined Powell in New York as a strategist. Most recently, Kosakowski, 24, was an assistant account planner at Oasis in New York, working on brands such as NYU Medical Center, Toyota and Sharp Electronics. Before that, she worked at I-Frontier Online Advertising in Philadelphia, Marina Maher Communications in New York and Adams Associates Public Relations in Paoli, Pa.

Media Logic in Albany added Mirek Janczur, 28, as graphic artist. Janczur will work on graphic-design layouts and production on a variety of projects for clients that include Visa and Trans World Entertainment. Janczur previously was an assistant art director at KPR in New York, where he spent two years designing and producing advertising collateral and brand-identity materials for clients that included Merck, Janssen and AstraZeneca.



OHIO

Independent agency inChord Communications in Columbus named Chris Snell chief innovation officer. Snell, 54, co-founder and former president of creative services at inChord subsidiary Gerbig, Snell/Weisheimer, will be in charge of business development and integration.



OREGON

Grady Britton hired Danyel Mele as an account manager. Mele has worked with shopping centers, government agencies, public utilities and hospitals. At Grady Britton in Portland, Mele will focus on Freightliner, Saint Alphonsus and new-business generation.



TENNESSEE

Memphis shop Signature Advertising promoted Lanny Moore from IT specialist to director of information technologies. Prior to joining Signature, Moore was technology manager at Hanson Graphics, also in Memphis. The agency also hired Jeremy Paine as art director. Paine joins the shop from Bennett Digital Productions, where he was digital production manager.



TEXAS

Ft. Worth, Texas-based Range Online Media hired Joe Cruz as online media production manager. Prior to joining Range, Cruz was a senior project manager for Yahoo!, where he managed interactive Webcasts and Web applications, including Dell’s “Breakfast With Dell” and Merrill Lynch’s interactive Global Investor Network.



VIRGINIA

The Meridian Group-Marketing Communications named David Stearns vice president and general manager. Stearns will oversee daily operations and fiscal management of its Virginia Beach office. He joined Meridian in 1997 following a stint as account executive at The Polizos Agency.
