CONNECTICUT

Keiler & Co., Farmington, promoted Nancy Flanagan and Scott Santa Maria each to account manager. Flanagan will manage advertising activity for Fairchild Dornier. Santa Maria will coordinate national advertising activity for Deloitte & Touche. Keiler also hired Kelli Buckley as assistant account manager working on the Southco and General Cologne Re accounts.

Scott Widmer was named director, electronic communications at Maier Marketing and Communications in Farmington. He will be involved in Web development and e-commerce projects for the agency’s high-tech, business-to-business clients. Widmer was formerly manager of electronic communications at United Technologies Corp.

Mason & Madison Public Relations, New Haven, promoted Melissa Carta to assistant account executive. She joined the agency in June 2000. The agency also added Wilson Camelo as senior account executive. He will manage several business-to-business accounts, including ClaimPlace and Cardium Health Services..

Marketing Drive/USA, Wilton, appointed Michael Harris as president of its Boston office. Harris was CEO of The Works Consultancy, London, where he led the development of marketing programs for Gillette’s Sensor, Mach3, Braun Oral Care and Shaving, as well as Bacardi, BBC World, Oral B and Duracell.

Aabalone [red], a Darien-based marketing communications and Web development firm specializing in the asset management industry, hired Sarah Seccombe as creative assistant.

Lutchansky Communications, Danbury, promoted Denise Behringer to vice president and managing partner. The firm also hired Michael O’Hara Taylor as an account coordinator.

MASSACHUSETTS

Corey McPherson Nash, Watertown, hired Andy Blake as Internet strategist; Eliza Grinnell as interactive producer; Drake Pusey as information architect; Joel Webster as senior interactive developer; and interactive developers Georgiana Witherhill, Aron Boros and Jason Bukowski. The firm also named Danny Terpening designer and Mary Tuck Welch business development coordinator.

Manufacturers’ Services Limited, Concord, appointed Stephen Schultz as vice president of marketing and communications. He was previously a principal with Computer Sciences Corp.

Agnew Carter/MS&L, Boston, promoted Courtney McIlhenny and Lori Kitchen each to assistant account executive and hired account associates Jaime Maser and Courtney Curzi.

Weber Group, Cambridge, hired Amy Russ as a senior account executive working on the Groove Networks and Monster.com accounts and Brian Alberti, Molly Finn and Brendan Ward each as account coordinators.

Richard Wessels joined Vert, a Boston outdoor media company, as vice president, marketing and business development. He was previously vice president, marketing and content for CollegeLink.com, Middletown, R.I.

Miller/Shandwick Technologies, Boston, hired Emma Pearson-Stoner as vice president, account services. Pearson-Stoner relocated to Boston from New York, where she was vice president and executive director for Goodman Media International’s Internet division.

YellowPepper, Boston, appointed Brent Leland, formerly with MFS Investment Management in Boston, as director of all things visual. He is charged with leading the firm’s design team.

Clarke Goward, Boston, promoted Chris Pinkham to vice president, director of design. He has been with the agency since 1998, and was most recently was director of design. The agency promoted Stefanie Callaghan to account supervisor. Clarke Goward also added Gina Cass as a media planner. She worked for seven years as a media supervisor at Ingalls (now Holland Mark).

Fuse, Newburyport, appointed Ilene Harnch-Grady client solutions manager and Stephanie McLaughlin brand communications manager. Harnch-Grady previously worked as an account manager at Amergent, Peabody. McLaughlin formerly worked in the department of external affairs and marketing for New England Medical Center.

Tepperman/Ray Associates, Andover, named Julie Wotjas account manager and James Marshall director of new business development. Wotjas has been with the agency for six years and will be responsible for management of client programs and communication. Marshall, who has been with the agency for more than two years, will be responsible for account planning, strategic consulting and business development.

Roberta Diamond was promoted to senior production director at SRK3 Group, a medical marketing communications agency in Wayland.

The Information Technology Services Marketing Association, Lexington, ap-pointed Collin Earnst manager, PR and communications. Earnst will concentrate on editorial and public relations, as well as managing ITSMA’s marketing support programs for print collateral, Web and direct response. He was formerly senior marketing manager for iXL.

Arnold, Boston, promoted Heather Bogan from traffic coordinator to assistant producer, working on the Talbots, Ocean Spray and new business accounts. The agency also hired Rob Thompson, formerly with DDB Chicago, as a copywriter on the Volkswagen account and Claudine Kaprielian, formerly a programmer for Circle.com in Boston, as a mechanical supervisor on the Volkswagen interactive account. Arnold also added Matt Murphy, formerly a freelancer, as a production artist on the Volkswagen account, Emily Till as creative coordinator and Eitan Chitayat as a copywriter for Volkswagen.

Lynn McNamee joined VelocityAdvertising, Boston, as a studio production manager. She previously spent five years with Holland Mark, Boston, working as a studio manager and art director.

RHODE ISLAND

Advertising Ventures, Providence, added Mark Duphily as director of design services. The firm also hired Deanna Plumley as impression specialist. She will be responsible for ensuring that the agency atmosphere is suitable for clients and staff, see that final adjustments have been made to various client assignments and serve as a link of communication between the firm and its clients.

VERMONT
