Kate Greer is now vice president and editorial director at the magazine, while Derick Belden has progressed to homes editor. Victoria McLeod has been named sales manager in Chicago, Gretchen Snipes salesperson in Dallas and Stacie Hughes manager of the San Francisco office. - FLORIDA HLA Marketing Communications in Tampa has promoted Ashleigh Slyker to vice president of account service with an ownership position. The agency also appointed Rebecca Bertke administrative assistant. Jennifer Markwica has been named art director at Husk Jennings Advertising in Jacksonville. FKQ in Clearwater has promoted Linda Fitzsimmons to office manager. Gayle Hart has joined the Greater Jacksonville Fair as director of sales and marketing. - GEORGIA This year's Atlanta gold Addy winner for Barnfly's print advertising, Cathy Lepik, is now a freelance copywriter. Austin Kelley Advertising has promoted senior copywriter Duncan Stone to associate creative director and hired John Spalding as copywriter. Kathi Roberts, previously principal of Roberts Design in Atlanta, has joined the shop as creative director. Bob Day has been named general manager at Seven Worldwide in Atlanta. Federated Department Stores has designated Diann Mahood executive vice president of marketing for its Rich's-Lazarus-Goldsmith division in Atlanta. - KENTUCKY Doe-Anderson Advertising and Public Relations has installed Mark Hess as vice president and account supervisor. Hess arrives at the Louisville agency after a nine-year stint at Long Haymes Carr in Winston-Salem, N.C. Doe-Anderson also promoted Bill Kelly Bossier, Kevin Lippy, Mike Weston, Rankin Mapother and Ed Neary to vice presidents and creative directors. - NORTH CAROLINA Smith Advertising & Associates in Fayetteville has appointed Katherine Dymond creative director. Stewart was previously traffic and production manager at Yesawich, Pepperdine & Brown in Orlando, Fla. - VIRGINIA MSI Advertising in Richmond has named Kevin Grimsdale creative director. Grimsdale is a 10-year veteran of The Martin Agency in Richmond and a former associate creative director at Rockett, Burkhead & Winslow in Raleigh, N.C. He most recently worked as a freelancer.
