- NEW MEXICO Rick Johnson & Co., Albuquerque, has added Mark Florez as account executive for government, media and community public relations, event planning and crisis communication. Florez was previously the community outreach specialist for Westinghouse Electric Co. Patricia Grossman is the agency's new staff accountant. - OKLAHOMA Fellers Marketing and Advertising, Oklahoma City, has promoted Toni Griswold to account executive. In her new position, Griswold will be responsible for marketing and advertising activities involving Tim-berjack Corp. of Atlanta. She joined Fellers in 1997 as production manager. Ike Walker has moved to Christopher Sound & Vision, Tulsa, as studio manager in charge of production, bookings and client service. Previously, he was executive news producer at KJRH-TV, the NBC affiliate. Craig Dahlquist has arrived at CS&V to lead sales and new business development efforts. Dahl-quist was most recently director of advertising services for Prevue Networks. Communicating Arts, Tulsa, has assigned Kristen Henry to its creative staff as a graphic artist. She will be responsible for the graphic design of multimedia and print projects. Prior to joining Communicating Arts, Henry worked as a production manager at Envision Creative. - TEXAS Bates Southwest, Houston, has promoted John Wagner to vice president of Bates Churchill Public Relations. Wagner began with Bates Churchill as a management supervisor in January, overseeing creative and client service activities for VTEL Corp., Weatherford International and GTE Wireless, among other accounts. Amanda Taylor has joined Michael & Partners, Dallas, as an account executive. Her clients include Lexington Services, More-O Corp. and Re:sources Connection. Taylor comes to the agency from Witherspoon & Associates, where she served as an account executive. American Airlines Publishing, Fort Worth, has named Vickie Christine account executive on the American Way magazine sales team. Christine was formerly passenger sales manager for American Airlines, responsible for $75 million in travel agency revenue. Debbie Cooper was appointed advertising director of Southwest Airlines' Spirit. Ward Communications has added Debora Fowler and Heath Griffith to its Dallas-based staff. Fowler joins as associate media director from her previous position as group media supervisor at Moroch & Associates. Griffith comes aboard as account service coordinator. He was a media supervisor at Gugel Advertising before moving to Ward. Richard Merrill has become director of education at Promotional Products Association International, Irving. Merrill will supervise the development of a continuing education series for the Master and Certified Advertising Specialists program.
