NEW YORK NCI Advertising in New York advanced Frank Murphy to senior vice president and creative director, Rx, and Jack Lipton to vice president and management supervisor. The agency also welcomed three new employees: Michael Hinds as senior vice president and creative director of art services, Marianne Hussey as senior vice president and account group supervisor and Janet Hedrick as vice president and account supervisor. Tina Georgeou, former executive vice president and managing director of business development at Ammirati Puris Lintas in New York, arrived at DeWitt Media in New York as executive vice president and director of client services. Before joining APL, Georgeou established RTA Advertising in Montreal. New York-based Avrett, Free & Ginsberg promoted Kathleen Wall to account executive and Michelle Castaldi to account planner. The agency also hired Damian Weed as management supervisor, James Streit as senior planner and Lori Swanson as executive assistant. Ray Dreyfus, a former marketing executive for Chrysler Corp.'s Jeep and Eagle brand products, joined Hachette Filipacchi Magazines in New York as vice president of business development, a new position. At Time Out New York magazine in New York, Cyndi Stivers moved up to president. Stivers will retain her editor-in-chief's title. Effective in January, advertising director Alison Tocci will become publisher of the periodical. Louise Hraur De Sina, previously vice president and management supervisor at Barry Blau & Partners in Wilton, Conn., was named senior manager of advertising and communications at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in New York. Castor Advertising Corp., New York, assigned Luz de Armas, former managing partner and chief creative officer of Saatchi & Saatchi's Hispanic unit, Conill Advertising, to its senior management team. Her new responsibilities will center on the agency's recently won Anheuser-Busch Bud Light business. FCB Healthcare, New York and San Francisco, added Neil James as senior vice president and worldwide account director, Kathleen Pietras-Schwab as vice president and director of West Coast operations, FCB Pro/Health, and Dick Nuzzo as vice president and director of East Coast operations, FCB Pro/Health. Scott Muscarella was named director of marketing at Prizm Plus Target Marketing Solutions, New York. KWE Associates, New York, promoted Victoria Feldman to executive vice president and general manager, Charles Mardiks to vice president and managing director and Christina Olfano to director of operations and human resources. At Dreyfus Service Corp. in New York, P. Genie Agins was designated senior vice president of marketing communications. Robert Griffith was recently installed as executive vice president of strategic services at the Gramercy Group in New York. Brooks Brothers appointed Derek Ungless senior vice president and creative director. Ungless will oversee all advertising, brand marketing and public relations for the New York-based clothier. Sergio Perez established H/Span, a new agency in Great Neck specializing in Hispanic radio and television advertising. Wechsler Ross & Partners in New York selected Lillian Goldthwaite director of marketing. CONNECTICUT ESPN, Bristol, named Jessamy Tang director at ESPN Enterprises. Previously, Tang was director of sales planning and administration for ABC Radio Networks. Danielle Maged, former consultant for Fox Sports International, was appointed director of strategic planning for ESPN International in New York. Erik Olsen, most recently executive vice president and managing director at Burson-Marsteller in New York, became managing director at Greenfield Consulting Group in Westport. NEW JERSEY Morristown-based DKB and Partners appointed Larry Elkin director of production, Jennifer Kline account executive, Mara Shelby Parker media coordinator and Jeanne Coon graphic designer.
