NEW YORK DDB Needham, New York, added three associate creative directors: Woody Litwhiler, who comes from Adler Boschetto Peebles; Terry O'Leary, most recently at Bozell in New York; and Lori Korchek, who joins the agency from Amster Yard. Also at DDB, Chris Baier was hired as a junior copywriter and Dustin Duke was brought on as a junior art director. BBDO, New York, hired Jeffrey Wilks as executive vice president, senior account director. He joins the agency from Ammirati Puris Lintas, where he was executive vice president, managing director on Compaq. Barry Martin joined Hampel/Stefanides, New York, as executive vice president, director of account planning. He previously held that position at Partners & Shevack/Wolf. Admerasia, New York, tapped Connie Cheng as vice president, strategic planning. She was most recently vice president, director of multicultural marketing for the Asian-American segment at Citibank. Meryl Enerson joined Interactive8, New York, as vice president and chief operating officer. She had served as vice president of product development for software company Interaxis. Bill Markel was also promoted to managing partner, business development and marketing from vice president, business development. LPNYThink, New York, hired Mickey Rogers as a designer. He was most recently a desktop specialist at Bowne Business Solutions. Curious Pictures, New York, has added Michael Bennion to its roster of directors. His first work for the studio, several spots for CDNow, bowed on CBS during the Grammy Awards and will air throughout the year on MTV and VH1. Direct Marketing Days in New York will present Jay Walker, founder and vice chairman of priceline.com, with its direct marketer of the year award at the group's 34th annual Marketing Conference & Exposition. Walker is also chairman of Walker Digital, the company that invented and patented priceline.com's e-commerce system. Tribune Entertainment Company, New York, has tapped Carolyn Way as Eastern regional sales manager. She was most recently director, Eastern region sales for Rysher Entertainment. Life, New York, promoted Donald Fries to publisher from associate publisher, advertising. Also at the magazine, Gene Foca was also elevated to associate publisher, consumer marketing from consumer marketing director. Condƒ Nast named Thomas Florio vice president, publisher of GQ. He had been vice president, publisher of Condƒ Nast Traveler. Lisa Henriques takes his place as publisher of Condƒ Nast Traveler. She had been publisher of Condƒ Nast House & Garden. NEW JERSEY Einson Freeman, Paramus, has named Kathleen Riker group account director on Reynolds Metals, Evista and Sunsweet. She previously worked at The Hadley Group. Inkworks, Absecon, tapped Maria Simone as communications specialist and named Scott Petinga graphic designer. Simone was previously executive editor of The Beachcomber; Petinga worked as a freelance consultant. The Harrington Group, Morristown, named Janice Ferrante art director. She is responsible for accounts including HBO, Sony Electronics, The Nashville Network and Cinemax. Furman Feiner Advertising in Englewood added Carol Winfield as a senior account executive. She comes from Della Femina/Jeary & Partners in New York. The agency also hired Lynn Goldberg as an account executive; she was with the Cherenson Group. DKB and Partners, Morristown, added Leslie Donworth as production manager. She was formerly a freelance print production consultant. PENNSYLVANIA Lauren Yates joined Timmons & Company, Doylestown, as an account manager. She comes from Cross Keys Advertising, where she served in the same capacity. Biologix Communications in Philadelphia hired Stephen Piotrowski as an account supervisor. He previously held that title at Dudnyk Healthcare Group. CONNECTICUT The Banyan Group, Norwalk, named Neil Brownlee vice president, creative director. He was most recently chief copywriter and associate creative director at Lois/USA. Ryan Direct, Westport, has added Elise Wilfinger as vice president. She joined the agency from McCann Relationship Marketing, where she was vice president, account director. Daniel King joined Madison International Sales, Stamford, as director of sales, a new position. He previously served as chief information officer for the Myllykoski Corp. in Finland.
