NEW YORK Stan Stefanski was promoted from chief financial officer to chief administrative officer of the Y&R/WCJ Partnership in New York. Jacques Tortoroli, most recently vice president and controller of Pepsi-Cola International, succeeds Stefanski as chief financial officer of the partnership. Young & Rubicam named Jorge Rodriguez president of the agency's Latin America region. He had been president and chief executive officer of Y&R in Miami. Copywriter Dan Glassman has joined Weiss, Whitten, Stagliano, New York, from Ammirati Puris Lintas, also New York. Glassman, who had worked at Ammirati since October 1995, reports to associate creative director Keith Klein. Compelling Content, New York, has tapped Lil Paettiere as senior vice president, director of account services and Robert Muller as chief technology officer. News America Marketing, a division of News Corp. in New York, appointed Joseph Traynor president, international; Eugene Klein executive vice president, chief operating officer; David DeVoe executive vice president and chief financial officer and Jennifer Jehn executive vice president of marketing. Ray Giacopelli progressed to vice president of audience analysis at USA Network in New York. American Express Publishing Corp. in New York installed Steven McDonald as New York sales manager and Lawrence Glick and Stephanie Mascali as senior account managers for Travel & Leisure Golf. Kelly Emery Steelman was named advertising director of the Americas for Forbes Global Business & Finance, the new international edition of New York-based Forbes. Conde Nast Publications in New York selected Elizabeth Nann advertising director and Heidi Silverstein director of creative and marketing services for Bride's magazine. Deborah Barrow, publishing director at Meredith Publishing Group, will assume full responsibility for Traditional Home, Renovation Style, Decorator Showhouse and Crayola Kids magazines. Also at Meredith, Wilkie Bushby, advertising director of Traditional Home, was named publisher; and Risa Crandall, advertising director of Crayola Kids, was named publisher. Both will report to Barrow. Meredith publishing director Joseph Lagani will add Family Money to his titles. Marguerite Brophy, Elyse Horn and Meredith Smulian were all named vice presidents, associate media directors by media services firm R.J. Palmer. Randi L. Dorman, a senior account manager at brand identity and package design firm Interbrand Gerstman + Myers, New York, has been promoted to vice president. Renegade Marketing Group, a subsidiary of Dentsu USA in New York, promoted Katie Gallagher to partner, Jeff Powers to account supervisor, Boliva Genovese to project manager and Matt Gidney to Internet project manager. Paxon Communications Corp. has tapped Lewis Freifeld as vice president of the Eastern region for Pax Net, a national family entertainment TV network to launch Aug. 31. Freifeld will oversee the development, sales and operation of the network's Eastern region from New York. Steve Witt was promoted to senior vice president, creative director of GHB&M Healthworld, a New York-based healthcare communications agency. He had been vice president. A-Pix Entertainment has promoted Frank Slugaski to senior vice president of sales and marketing. Slugaski will create and coordinate the video company's marketing campaigns and spearhead its nationwide sales effort. Leslie Stubin has been named senior vice president, media services worldwide at Atwood Richards. Stubin will run the new international media services division from Atwood's headquarters in New York. Deborah Wright was named executive vice president, general manager of Brandselite USA and named to Brandselite International Corp.'s senior management team. Wright is responsible for all U.S. marketing, sales and administrative activities for the signature Doulton fragrance. NEW JERSEY Integrated Communications Corp. in Parsippany added Carol Sheldon as executive director, James Saccento as vice president and director of creative support services, Neil Goldberg as director of information technology, Nancy Schroeter as group art supervisor, Susan Wilson as medical writing and editorial services manager, Dina Scanlon as account supervisor, Olga Alario as product account supervisor, Jeffrey Sherry as account executive and Aimee Eastwood as junior copywriter. Einson Freeman, a Paramus-based promotion marketing agency, has appointed Andrea Waldman group account director for its Lever, CBS and Sunbeam accounts. Tara Sandusky has been promoted to account manager at CramerSweeney, a marketing firm in Cherry Hill. Integrated Communications, Lawrenceville, reported the following new hires: Steven L. Kreshover, vice president and group account supervisor; Carol Lewis, medical writer; and Lisa Myers, senior account coordinator. PENNSYLVANIA Heinz U.S.A., Pittsburgh, has named Anthony James Muscato as vice president of marketing and business development for its food service division. Muscato is responsible for marketing and manufacturing within the unit's food service business divisions, as well as new business development opportunities. CONNECTICUT Meridian Consulting Group, based in Westport, elevated Mark Demuro to executive consultant. Rosemary Tracy O'Brien, an account executive at Taylor, Dougherty, Rost & Partners in Harrison, N.Y., arrived at J. Brown/LMC Group in Stamford as a senior account executive. Stamford-based J. Brown/LMC Group, a co-marketing agency, has appointed Marty Ford as a computer graphics designer.
