Keiler & Co. has tapped Sue Tyzc as media coordinator to work on The Torrington Co., Deloitte & Touche and St. Vincents Hospital. The Farmington agency’s public relations group has added account manager Sativa Eiben and account coordinator Renee Cormier. Both will be working on the AlliedSignal consumer brands and corporate accounts.
Mintz & Hoke’s Chuck Borghese has been promoted from chief creative director to chief creative officer in recognition of his achievements in his first year at the Avon agency. The shop also appointed account management supervisor Andrew Wood to the newly created position of marketing director.
Laura Davis-Irish has been named director of education marketing at Garrand and Co., a Lewiston marketing firm. She will work on projects for PBS and H.P. Hood, among others. Davis-Irish joined the agency as a copywriter in 1998 after more than 12 years as a teacher.
Allen & Gerritsen of Watertown has added media planner/buyer Leanne Russo Dennison, media associate Jennifer Kulm and technology specialist John Dupius. Dennison will work on State Street, Waters, Genzyme and Thomson Financial.
Devine & Pearson has hired assistant account executive Michael Loftus to work on the Quincy agency’s Ocean Spray business, focusing primarily on the food service and dispensing industry. Loftus was formerly a marketing assistant and feature writer at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Mass.
The Weber Group added Ellen Fletcher as svp in its Cambridge headquarters. Fletcher joined the technology public relations firm from Alexander Ogilvy Public Relations, where she was general manager of that agency’s Cambridge office. Weber also has promoted Jamie Pearson from svp to general manager of the Cambridge office. Pearson has been a member of Weber’s senior management team for four years.

McKay Communications, Boston, has added staffers to work on new business, including RoweCom, the agency’s first

Wiggin & Co. of Northhampton has appointed Paul Pereira graphic designer. Pereira has worked for nine years in design on both coasts.
Epsilon has hired Michael Penney for the newly created role of executive vice president of Internet services. Penney will oversee the Burlington firm’s quick expansion into e-business solutions and develop partnership programs in direct marketing and database technology.
He was a client partner at AT&T Solutions, where he delivered e-commerce strategies. The firm also has recruited Don Wingate of Cap Gemini Group, a system integrator, to develop a partnership program with other businesses. Epsilon aims to use strategic alliances to boost client services and speed up the time it takes to implement solutions.
BBK Communications has promoted Leslie Emert to art studio manager. Emert will manage the graphic arts department at the Newton healthcare communications agency, along with serving as a graphic artist and art director for Internet services.
Lynda Fishbourne has been appointed creative director at Commonwealth Creative Associates in Framingham. Fishbourne was a senior designer at HBM Creamer Design Group in Boston. From 1986 to 1997, she was president and creative director at Hemenway Design Associates of Sudbury, where she worked with clients such as the New England Medical Center and Lotus Development Corp.
