A NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Karen Hodges was promoted to local sales manager of Fox affiliate KTVU-TV Channel 2 in Oakland. Kevin O'Donnell was promoted to managing partner of Prophet Brand Strategy in San Francisco. Netscape Communications in Mountain View named John Heins vp of sales and international operations. A OREGON Respond2, a direct Internet and TV marketing company in Portland, hired David Landis as vice president of interactive services. A SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 3Dshopping.com, Los Angeles, hired Joel Gayner as senior vice president of marketing and sales. The Townsend Agency in San Diego appointed Bernhard Schroeder chairman of its new strategic advisory board. New additions to Di Zinno-Thompson Integrated Marketing Solutions in San Diego include Deborah Jondall as director of the partnership marketing division, Rob Petrie as creative director, Jonathan Forstot as an account manager and Tori Evans as a junior copywriter. Univision Communications, Los Angeles, promoted Nicolas Valls to the newly created position of senior vice president, network sales and marketing. Dwight Caines joined Sony Pictures Entertainment's worldwide marketing group in Culver City as vice president, Internet marketing strategy. TVN Entertainment Corp., Burbank, formed Transactional Content Group and named James Riley senior vice president, business development. Riley will also head TCG's distribution and marketing efforts. Al Brooks Tickets in Los Angeles will expand to San Diego through the addition of Lynn Gilford as vice president of sales. FMJAdcomm in Venice hired Mandy Harvey as senior account executive. Pittard Sullivan in Culver City named Jennifer Burns to the newly created position of vice president, strategy and planning. James M. James Curry, a former senior vice president at Leo Burnett, joined Quill Communications, a private technology marketing communications services and software development company near San Diego.
