He had been senior vice president of retail marketing at Duracell International, a unit of the Gillette Co.Tom Banks has been hired by Dakota Group in Wilton as director of marketing.Mintz & Hoke in Avon has promoted Eileen Brangan to senior account executive for public relations and Heidi Lamar to assistant manager of information systems. Brangan had worked as an account executive; Lamar previously served as the agency's technical support coordinator. Prior to joining Mintz & Hoke, Brangan worked for the Kotchen Group in West Hartford. MASSACHUSETTSRobert Sturtevant has been named vice president of development at Sheaff Dorman Purins in Needham. Sturtevant's 15 years of experience in sales and business development include stints as New England regional development manager for a national water conservation company and account manager at the Boston Business Journal.Sue Martenson has been tapped by Schneider & Associates in Boston as account manager for corporate communications. She had been a public relations consultant for a variety of financial service clients and previously spent eight years in public relations and marketing at BayBank and two years as an account executive at Clarke & Co. Also joining Schneider's corporate communications group is account executive Julie Granger.
