Willie Ford has joined Rick Johnson & Company, Albuquerque, as creative director with responsibility for the recently acquired Dean Foods account. Ford previously worked as senior art director at the Cullinin Group, Minneapolis, on the Green Mountain Energy, Orion Food Systems, Domini Social Investments and 3M accounts.


Tucker & Associates, Dallas, has doubled its workforce with the appointment of three new employees. Lindsey Kirn has arrived from Fleishman-Hillard as account executive for Lady Primrose’s Products and the Texas Department of Economic Development’s tourism division. Reace Alvarenga has been hired as account supervisor, also from Fleishman-Hillard. She will work on The Parking Spot, Square One Group, Royal Resorts and Texas Department of Economic Development’s tourism division. Former Abilene KRBC news anchor Brittany Gaskill has become an account executive at Tucker. Her clients include The Parking Spot and Lady Primrose’s Products.

McGill Associates, Dallas, has named Jacqueline Lajoie senior vice president. Previously, she held the position of client services director. Brynn Bagot, formerly media relations manager, has been promoted to vice president.

D Home and Garden has appointed Susan Stanton advertising director. She comes to the Dallas quarterly magazine from Cowboys & Indians, where she was associate publisher.

Dwayne Sigler has been named senior vice president of marketing at Brink’s Home Security in Irving. Previously, Sigler was vice president of marketing at Pittsburgh food retailer Giant Eagle.

Bates Churchill Public Relations has added Robert Herbst as account executive for consumer advertising accounts and Jennifer Chow as assistant account executive responsible for public relations activities for the Houston agency’s consumer and business-to-business clients. Herbst previously worked with Grey Alliance and Entertainment in Burbank, Calif., while Chow was a volunteer with the American Red Cross of Central Texas’s organ and tissue donation awareness program.

John Duban has joined Regian & Wilson/Grey Worldwide as senior vice president of client services. Duban comes to the Fort Worth agency from The Integer Group, a division of Omnicom, where he supervised the Coors Brewing business as account director.

Fellers Marketing & Advertising has recruited five new staff members at its Houston office. Robert Fritsche has moved from Cohen Group Advertising to become copywriter and producer. Carl Glatzel has arrived as art director from the Houston office of Oil & Gas Journal. Former freelancer Richard Naudin has been appointed production artist. Kelly Krysinski has been recruited as assistant account executive for the ebaseOne business after a stint at Ogilvy & Mather. Terri Halsey, formerly production coordinator at Dinaco Inc., has been hired as production manager.

Berry-Brown Advertising has appointed Brady Wright copywriter and Kevin Byrd senior copywriter. Both writers had been with Publicis in Dallas. Michael Estill has joined the Dallas shop as studio manager from Lyrick Studios in Allen. Bill Hallgren has been hired as account supervisor from DDB Worldwide in Dallas. Mike Lozitio, formerly at Health Magic, Albuquerque, N.M., has become account manager. Davis Tisdale, formerly at Seltel in Dallas, has been named assistant media buyer.

Grupo Cuatro Publicidad has recruited three new staff members. Miguel Rothschild has joined the Dallas agency as art director from The Marketing Continuum. Adrian Salvatierra, formerly with Miller Brewing Co. in San Antonio, has been hired as assistant account manager, along with Maricela Rojas, who comes aboard from Duke Unlimited in New Orleans.

Patti Olson Rogers, president of The Olson Group, was named Ad Woman of the Year at the recent Big Wig Awards hosted by the Austin Advertising Federation. Rogers co-founded The Olson Group in 1995 and has seen the strategic design firm grow from a staff of three to more than 20, with annual billings of more than $5 million.

The Beaird Agency has installed Billy Quinton as senior art director. Quinton joins the Dallas shop from Guaranty Bank. Kisha Woods has been promoted to assistant account executive and will work with the shop’s Ponderosa and Bonanza clients.

Makos, Austin, has enlisted Reginald Herde as account supervisor and Amber Camp as media buyer and planner. Herde was previously at Dell Computers, where he was marketing communications manager. Camp joins from In Media Res, Austin.

John Schleef has joined Hothaus Creative in Dallas as a designer. He is a former senior designer at NBC’s Dallas affiliate, KXAS-TV.

Amy Atkinson has been designated a junior account executive at BizCom Associates in Dallas.
