- TEXAS TLP, Dallas, has named Lora Funderburk director of media services. Most recently, she was a sales manager at AMFM Radio Networks. Miguel Farah was appointed chief strategy officer and director of consumer planning at the agency's Wilton, Conn., office. Shannan Swanson has moved to charlieuniformtango, Dallas, as senior producer. Swanson had served as broadcast producer at The Richards Group since 1996. Perry Tongate, formerly director of operations at Slocum & Associates Services, has joined the post-production house as national sales representative. Angela Chestnut has been recruited as customer relations coordinator. Assistant editors Keith James and Scott Hanson have progressed to editors. Mary Alice Butler has advanced to senior producer. Marci Frenkel has returned to the editing facility as executive producer. Harper House, Dallas, has named Charles Martin vice president of marketing and Chip Harding vice president of technical sales. PetersGroup Public Relations, Austin, has added Julie Evans as account executive. Evans is a former communications director and press secretary for U.S. Rep. Bill Barrett in Washington, D.C. Ward Communications, Dallas, has hired Megan Blaser as media buyer. Prior to joining Ward, Blaser held the same title at Spotplus. Eric Clark has joined Austin-based WarrenCordes+McCullar as public relations account manager. Formerly with the U.S. Commerce Department in Washington, D.C., Clark served as public affairs director with the agency's technology administration. Jessica Wurtzeback, a recent graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, has become an account services assistant at the agency. Gary Blankenship has joined the staff of The Balcom Agency, Fort Worth, as account executive. Blankenship formerly worked for The Richards Group and DDB, both Dallas. Stuart Bacon, Fort Worth, has recruited Julie Everitt as public relations account executive. Everitt previously worked as - reporter for the Fort Worth Business Press. Johnston & Co., Houston, has appointed Jennifer Mallette executive vice president of operations. Perry Jackson, formerly senior art director, has been promoted to vice president of creative. Bethelyn Kepke, who was an account manager, has been elevated to vice president of real estate account services. New employees at the agency are Rebecca Whyte, assistant account executive, real estate, and Brandy Zingelmann, account executive, automotive. Tuerff-Davis EnviroMedia, Austin, has signed Pamela Udall, former product manager at the Texas Lottery Commission, to manage the agency's Capital Metro account team. Scott Kentros, previously with the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC), was designated account supervisor for Capital Metro. In addition, ex-TNRCC staffer Helen Chaney came aboard as account executive and Tamala Barksdale, formerly with TNRCC and Keep Texas Beautiful, has joined the shop as executive assistant. Brad Byrun, graphic designer, has arrived from a similar post at Aus-Tex Printing. Garcia/LKS has welcomed five new employees. The San Antonio agency has recruited Laura Cisneros as director of Internet services. She was previously marketing development director at Bazzirk. Lorraine Pulido-Ramirez, former director of public affairs at the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, has joined the shop as public relations manager. Shannon Stephens, previously with Univision, was enlisted as media manager. Account supervisor Marcela Barreyro-Garces held a similar position at Daniels & Roberts in Boca Raton, Fla. Freelancer Charles Chapman has arrived at the agency as art director and copywriter. - ARKANSAS Stone & Ward, Little Rock, has added Debra Pate as senior public relations account executive. Pate was previously vice president of marketing for Guest House International Franchise Systems. Matt Dishongh was named public relations account executive, and Keri LaValle was brought aboard as public relations assistant. Patrick LaGrone was appointed designer and art director. Klansee Juckett has become associate art director and designer at the agency. Wanda Young and Rhonda Zahnen were promoted to account managers. - LOUISIANA Zehnder Communications, New Orleans, has hired Debbie Gaspard as director of operations and human resources. Gaspard is a recent MBA graduate and former employee of Tulane University's Division of Institutional Advancement. Lisette Carter, previously a public relations writer for the Convention and Visitors Bureau of New Orleans, was named junior account executive. William Gilbert, a graduate of Loyola University, was appointed an account coordinator at the agency.
