Interpublic Group of Cos. in New York named board director Frank Lowe chairman and chief executive of its new sports marketing group, Octagon. Lowe will continue as chairman and chief executive of The Lowe Group. Interpublic executive Les Delano, a founding director of The Lowe Group, will join the newly formed board of Octagon.
Jeff Krablin progressed to new business planning manager at D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in New York, a newly created position. Previously, Krablin was an associate account manager on the agency’s Procter & Gamble business.
Los Angeles-based A Band Apart Commercials installed Stephanie Seligman as executive producer in its recently established New York office. Seligman will also be the firm’s head of production.
