Mott’s Embarks On Agency Search; Dragoti Defends

At least a dozen agencies from the Northeast, Midwest and South have received requests for proposals from are Mott’s, sources said.

The client in Stamford, Conn., is reviewing its estimated $10-15 million apple products business.

Both creative and media duties are in play, and incumbent Moss/Dragoti in New York is defending, according to a client representative. The search is being managed by consulting company Van Brunt & Partners, Fairfield, Conn., with help from New York’s Roth Associates.

Mott’s is a unit of London’s Cadbury Schweppes and has been available since the 1840s, making it one of the oldest consistently marketed American brands.
